What can $10 dollars get you?

3–5 minutes

Using Google Ads and Facebook Ads can be a great way to bring awareness to your website! But also can be used to move customers down the marketing funnel as discussed in another blog post.

So.. What can you do if you use the $10 correctly with an ad? You can reach a lot of people but you also can get people to act on products and services (depending on your goal).

Using $10 on a Facebook!

Facebook is a great way to make ads colorful, meaningful and create a connection with customers. Where you can add a photo, video, and even a call to action. Where you can target your audience according to location, gender, age and other demographics. Making it easy to personalize ads.

Facebook can stretch $10 a day to roughly 1,200 impressions. While getting 10 call to actions, such as link clicks, messages and/or engagements to the post itself.

Where if we annualized those numbers, for $3,600 a year you can get 462,000 impressions. Along with 3,600 call to actions. Where these number may seem smaller compared to Google (explained next), it is because Facebook brings more personalization into your ads and where they place their ads. Meaning they are going to charge you for that (of course).

If done right Facebook ads can be a turning point for you business and bring in new customer. Along with connecting with current customers that may not know all the products you offer.

Using $10 on Google!

Google Ads can be very pivotal in reaching your goal or target market. You can choose where you want you ad to show up, what location you want it to show up on, and your demographics for who you want it to reach.

With only $10 per day you can have roughly over 3,000 impressions and/or 5 clicks on your website.

If you annualized those numbers, its staggering. $10 a day for a year is $3,600 for the year in marketing on Google. While that may seem high lets look at what you get.

3,000 impressions a day turns into 1,080,000 a year. Not to mention you can tell Google not to show your ad to people that have already been to your website or already clicked on the ad once. That’s a MILLION new eyes a year.

While looking at clicks, you can get 5 clicks a day for this price. That is 1,800 clicks a year. Yes, clicks are more expensive because Google considers this a conversion. It could very well be if your website is set up properly and your ad takes that person to what they want to see!

Google is a great source to reach customers new or current, to make them aware of services and/or products. But it all comes down to are you running the ad correctly. Along with is your website set up in the best possible manner to draw that customer to where you want them!

Both platforms are great for ads, but how do they differ?

Facebook is great and a lot of people do have Facebook, but now everyone. Along with that, a lot of scams happen on Facebook and people become weary of what they see and click on within Facebook. Making it hard for any business to really ensure they are maxing out their customers and who they reach.

Using Facebook helps you reach target areas, a range of age groups and not only that but it puts your ad in front of people that may not know they need what you are selling!

Google on the other hand is a narrow and specific target oriented ad platform. Where someone or a business has to know what they are looking for. If some types in “Shoes” a car ad is not going to show up, a show ad will show up. Which makes sense. Making goal a great way to get a better bang for your buck.

Google can be used as said above to reach specific target, along with someone that knows what they are looking for. Where you know that the person that clicked on your call to action was looking for your service and/or your product.

Conclusion

Overall, $10 can take you a long way. ONLY if used the right way on the right platform. We discussed what $10 can get you and where to use it for certain markets.
